I'm only a few listens in, but it's been quite mediocre. Bonobo has been honing this sound for a few albums now and has maybe sanded the edges of a bit too much. I don't doubt it will be in my rotation for a while, but it's lacking that wow I got from North Borders and Migration.

I expected the Hinds-shaped hole to be bigger, but it feels true to form for Mastodon. Standout song for me is "Out Like a Lamb". I think there are really strong parts on this album. I'm only a few listens in, but I think this will be on rotation for a while.

I fucking love this album! Definitly the best of the electronic albums they made so far.
